General Practitioner Questions Dandruff

I am having severe dandruff and hair loss. Please suggest some natural medication.

I am 37 years old woman and I have noticed sudden dandruff and slight hair loss. I really don't know where to start -- Are there any natural medicines I can turn to?

Shampoo that is recommended. Pharmacist/naturopath may be able to advise. May need steroid scalp lotion.
Wash your hair with dandruff shampoo. Also, drink eight 8oz of water or more daily. Depending on your race and/or ethnic background, there are hair products that one can use for treating the hair. Lastly, I recommend going to your PCP or dermatologist to be further evaluated.
Selenium is a natural trace element. Selenium shampoo is a long trusted treatment of dandruff. The hair loss should reduce when the fungus is brought to heel. There is a normal hair loss which varies with your natural cycle.

There are various shampoo formulations on the market. I would go with the ones that have the best general reputation.
Dandruff can almost always be controlled, but my best advise is to make an appointment with your Primary Physician or Dermatology Specialist.
Your doctor will likely be able to diagnose your dandruff and hair loss and what is causing this problem in your scalp.
