Yes, brush your teeth 3 time per day and floss every night.
Use of antimicrobial mouthwashes may help
no
Brushing thoroughly twice a day and flossing daily should eliminate gingivitis. If it has been a long time since your teeth were cleaned professionally, then that needs to be done since home care cannot eliminate calculus, only plaque. Irrigators and mouthwash can help but again only for plaque and not calculus.
You need to see a periodontist.
Brush, floss properly and rinse with an proper mouthwash. Bleeding gums, or gingivitis is caused by an accumulation of bacteria around the tooth and gums. This bacteria, called plaque, if left alone will create swollen gums that bleed easily. Removing the plaque frequently, at home and by your dentist, will prevent or reverse gingivitis.
Initiate flossing and brushing and appoint to see a dental professional. The dental professional will use instruments to easily debride the irritants (tartar) causing the gingivitis.

Yes, effective brushing and flossing with Listerine.
Brushing and flossing properly can treat gingivitis but first you need a proper diagnosis to determine if that is exactly what you have. You cannot treat Periodontitis at home.
Brush and floss daily.
