“How are chemical burns prevented in nuclear medicine?”
I am a 36 year old male. I was wondering how are chemical burns prevented in nuclear medicine?

There is no material (radiopharmaceutical) employed in nuclear medicine capable of causing any kind of burn! These materials have been given to two species of animals and have had extensive clinical testing for side effects before being put into routine diagnostic use.
Some of these which are used for killing cancer can cause side effects because the dose is much higher, but these are never burns.
