You can’t. Tarter needs to be removed by scaling procedure.
You cannot dissolve tartar off of your teeth. It has to be removed by professionals in the dental office with special instrumentation. However, you can prevent its accumulation and build up to aid in the prevention and control of periodontal disease.
The safest way is to never acquire tartar to begin with. Get a professional cleaning and then maintain it by brushing and flossing.
