-Avoid smoking and excess alcohol consumption.
-Yearly routine check-up after the age of 45.

Aerobic exercise 30 min 5 x per week. Low fat diet. Maintain a BMI around 24-25. Cholesterol <200 and LDL <100. HgbA1c <5.7 BP <130/80 and ideally around 110/70.
Diet, check for high cholesterol and diabetes, treat high blood pressure, exercise and keep your weight down, and avoid tobacco.
