Redness may be caused by numerous different conditions and the best technique of getting rid of red spots on your face will vary depending on the cause of the spots.

First, find the offender- maybe a product in your skincare routine cause an allergic reaction, pimples or irritation. Find the product and drop it.
Wash your face twice a day- use warm water and pat with a soft dry towel, and apply products that will relieve inflammation.
Use moisturizer- after wash, apply a moisturizing facial cream over the skin to lock in moisture.
Use over the counter special creams –they can help alleviate redness, soothe skin, and reduce swelling of the red spots on face.
You can as well use Aloe Vera gel –can help reduce inflammation and relieve pain.
Dab on coconut oil- it is a natural emollient, which can lock moisture.
Use oatmeal masks- is a great soother of causes of redness, from sunburn, eczema and simple irritation.

Hope this helps!
Your description doesn't permit a clear diagnosis. Red spots can be the left over from resolving active acne or rosacea or from irritation from medications used on the face or "broken blood vessels." First, you need a diagnosis and then an appropriate course of treatment outlined.
