How do I help my child who keeps having nightmares?

My 7 year old son keeps having nightmares. Many involve him falling. How do I help my child who keeps having nightmares?

It is common to have dreams especially of falling and later about missing exams and assignments. Reassure that he is safe and pray with him before bed. Hope that helps.

So that we must first identify the underlying disorder, then treat appropriately. How you can help your child at home is by making the sleeping routine as calming as possible. Stay with him until he falls asleep: read a book, play a song he likes, sing something relaxing and peaceful.
