The child should have mild fever, nausea, vomiting, and pain on right lower abdomen near right side of umbilicals and ilec line. Tell the child lie down and lift his left leg. Lifting leg will be painful. Tell the child stand up and jump with right leg only it will be painful. Take him to hospital, he has appendecitis.
The pain for appendicitis starts in the abdomen, but becomes strong and localizes to the right lower quadrant of the abdomen, there are guarding muscles. You may get vomiting and pain does not respond to analgesics.
The pain worsens over 12-24 hours and there is no appetite, tenderness on RLQ, and sometimes fever.
