“How do doctors treat a crush injury?”
I slammed my finger in the car door and crushed it. I thought it would heal on its own, but I don't know, it feels worse. How do doctors treat a crush injury?

Unless it involves the joint or is a displaced fracture it is treat with splint, ice and generally early motion. May take many months to totally heal. Good luck
You should ideally have X-rays taken, to ensure you didn’t fracture your fingers and in case you would protect them. Then the soft tissue will heal on their own, if there is laceration, it should be addressed as necessary.
