Cataracts are diagnosed during a complete ophthalmologic exam. Some symptoms include clouded or blurred vision, difficulty seeing at night, and/or fading or yellowing of colors.
Cataracts are diagnosed by full dilated examination of the eye by an ophthalmologist/MD. Additional visual testing and scans help with the diagnosis.
See an eye care professional and they will do a slit lamp exam.
