Dentist Questions Nerve Damage

How do you heal tooth nerve damage naturally?

I'm 21, and I want to know if there is a way to treat tooth nerve damage naturally? I damaged one of my nerves from a sports injury and my dentist indicated it. But I don't want to treat it with unnatural medicines.

If the damage is irreversible then it can only be treated with a root canal. Only your dentist can determine this.
If the nerve damage is reversible, then it will heal on its own (maybe shave the bite down a bit). If the nerve damage is irreversible, it will not heal on its own and you either 1) live with the problem, 2) root canal therapy, or 3) extraction.
Good luck.
It really depends as too the extent of the nerve damage. If it is minimal a good anti inflammatory natural medicine like black seed oil or arnica will work well. However if the damage is extensive you may need a root canal or extraction.
You have not provided enough information for me to determine the condition of the nerve inside your tooth. A damaged nerve may or may not be able to naturally. You should visit and endodontist , who can then perform pulp tests to determine if the nerve in your tooth has reversible or irreversible damage. If the damage is reversible, he will explain to you the best way to give your nerve the best chance to heal.
If the irritation was very minor, avoiding biting on the tooth might help it heal. If there is pain that is not provoked by anything, or pain to heat, or the tooth is discoloring, there is probably no "natural" way to help it settle down.
Generally, nerve damage to a tooth is classified as reversible pulpitis or irreversible pulpitis. When the damage is reversible, avoiding further trauma to the tooth and using an anti-inflammatory medication can help the nerve heal. When the nerve is irreversibly damaged, it usually dies and can become infected which can lead to a tooth abscess. If that happens, an antibiotic is best to treat it and not a natural remedy.
