See an eye doctor.
You would need to be examined by a doctor.
Is the pain spontaneous or did it occur because of trauma? If the vision is affected or the eye motility is limited or if the eye is swollen or red, then you should see an ophthalmologist as it might be serious.
Only way is to see a qualified eye care provider
Hello!

If it feels scratchy and gets better in a day or 2, probably not serious, just a small scratch. But if you wear contact lenses, it's probably serious. Also, if it throbs or is tender and lasts more than a couple of days, it should be checked. The associated symptoms matter, close the good eye and check if your vision has changed, which is another concerning sign.
Hope that helps!

Depends on the diagnosis. A complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
By a thorough eye examination
Occasional eye pain may be normal. Dryness, dust, allergens are causes . Try blinking, if you feel better right away, its likely dryness.
