How do you know if your foot is dislocated?

I am a 25 year old male and I think I dislocated my foot. How do you know if your foot is dislocated?

Dislocation of your foot is a major trauma and you would not be able to walk on it and you need to be seen in the hospital. Dislocation of a toe would be shown by deformity and difficulty moving the toe. Dislocation and ankle would also be an emergency requiring you go to the hospital. Hope this helps
You will have an intense pain, swelling and deformity if the dislocation occurs acutely.
Severe pain, swelling, bruising, inability to bear weight, loss of normal foot shape, loss of ability to move or control your foot or toes— these are some associated symptoms.

However, if you truly think you have dislocated your foot, get crutches and see an emergency medicine physician or orthopedic surgeon immediately for an examination and X-rays
A foot dislocation is a medical emergency that should be reduced immediately. If there is any question that your foot is dislocated, you should go to the emergency room to have it evaluated and treated.
If you think something is dislocated, you must go somewhere and have an X-ray. That's the only way to know for sure.

Hope it helps!!

If it is dislocated, it will be very swollen, like 50% bigger, very painful like you cannot stand or walk on it. A sprain or small fracture is much more likely. If it's much better in 5-7 days, do nothing. If not, go see a doc or nurse.
That type of condition is extremely painful.
