How is a crown removed from an implant?

I am a 42 year old male. I want to know how is a crown removed from an implant?

It depends. Some are fairly easy, others need to be cut off. You need to ask your dentist.
It depends on the type of crown placed. Talk to your prosthodontist about it. They will be better able to help you. Take care!
If the crown is retained by a screw, the screw is simply loosened and the crown/abutment is removed. If the crown was cemented over an abutment then a slot is placed through the crown and removed. Unfortunately, the crown will be lost and will need to be remade.
Single crowns connected to dental implants are held in place in two methods. Ideally, there is an access path to get to the screw that holds the crown in position, and after removing the filling and protective plug the screw is undone and the crown can be removed. If the implant angle or position does not allow the screw channel to be hidden on the chewing surface or tongue surface than an abutment is placed first, then a more conventional crown is "glued" to the abutment. In this case, the crown would need to be sacrificed (usually by cutting the shell in half) and removing that outer layer in sections. The crown would then need to be remade. Sometimes, a single hole can be made in the crown to get access to the retaining screw and then removed.
The secret is to find out what cement was used to place the crown. Some crowns are attached to the implant with a tiny screw. Most are cemented.
Sometimes a permanent cement is used and in this case you may have to destroy the crown as it is almost impossible to remove without damaging the implant. If a temporary cement was used it can be retrieved.
It can either be cut off or unscrewed. It depends on how the abutment is attached to the implant.
With a screwdriver.
