“How long after a dental implant can you get a dental crown?”
I am a 33 year old female. I want to know how long after a dental implant can you get a dental crown?

Normally, we wait 2-3 months for osseointegration (meaning the implant fusing to the surrounding bone).
Personally, I prefer 6 months. Some clinicians do it 3-4 months. Very important to pay attention to bone quality for decision-making.
Typically takes a few months for the bone around the implant to be stable enough to have a crown placed and begin using. Only exception is the Ultratooth implant which can be used same day
The timing can vary. Generally, for the lower jaw, it is 3-4 months after surgery, and for the upper jaw, 5-8 months. In some cases, when the bone to implant connection is very solid and the dentist/patient wants to finish ASAP and are willing to deal with the increased risk, the final restoration can be done sooner than mentioned above. These are often referred to as "Immediately loaded" implants.
It depends if it’s on the top jaw or the lower jaw. Normally 4 months on the upper and 3 months on the lower.
It generally takes 3-4 months for an implant to heal in the bone. At that point a crown can be made to fit on the implant.
