How long can you drink alcohol after anesthesia?

I am a 36 year old male. I want to know how long can you drink after anesthesia?

I assume you are asking how much time you have to wait after anesthesia to consume alcohol. Most of us would recommend waiting 24 hours but some types of surgery require a longer wait. If I may ask, can you participate in activities without drinking alcohol? If not there may be other problems you need to address. Best of luck!

I told my patients to avoid alcohol for 2 weeks at least. Depends on the procedure. Alcohol could affect and delay wound healing, and you could be susceptible to infection. Also, your liver could be in danger.
