“How long do you need to wear braces?”
My dentist originally said that I would only need to wear my braces for a year. But now it's past a year, and there's no sign of them coming off any time soon. How long do adults usually wear braces for?

Most orthodontic cases on adults take two to three years minimal. This is because of the age of the bone structure and many compromising factors that affect the overall quality of the movement itself. Some cases take longer which are more complicated and may even require surgical procedures.
