How long does a dental bridge procedure take?

I am a 32 year old male who will have a dental bridge procedure next week. How long does a dental bridge procedure take?

It depends on your dentist, and the location of the bridge. 1-2 hours.
Depends on the number of teeth involved. If you are replacing one missing tooth by using 2 other teeth procedure should take 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours including fabrication of a temporary bridge.
1-2 hours.
Depending on the amount of teeth that are prepared, the skill level of your dentist, and the condition of the adjacent teeth that are being prepared. I would say that a "normal" amount of time is 1 1/2 hours from start to finish.
So many variables. Generally, it takes about 25-39 minutes per tooth. A three-unit bridge will take less time than a 4or five unit bridge! Many times when doing a bridge, other procedures are necessary in order to insure the foundation of the bridge is sound. Depending on the scope and number of the these procedures, the time needed to complete the temporary bridge will be prolonged. My suggestion would be to ask the DDS what they expect the allotted time to be and adjust accordingly.

Hope this helps,

Depends on how many teeth and the experience of your dentist. Whether they are taking old fashioned impressions or using computerized digital impressions. Is it all gold or all zirconium or gold and porcelain?

So, 2 to 3 visits if it is 5 units or less. First visit is one to three hours depending on your answers to the above. It's like asking how long does it take to build a house. Without knowing the size of the house or the materials being used.

It depends on how large the bridge is, but on average a medium size bridge replacing one or two teeth takes most dentists 1-1/12 hours if they are also making a temporary bridge.
The size of the bridge will determine how long the procedure will take. Generally, it takes about 35 minutes per abutment tooth (bridge base teeth) to prepare the bridge.
It all depends on how many teeth usually no more than 2 hours to prep teeth and make temp but sometimes things can happen which can prolong procedure.
