If it is a regular cataract it should take 5-10 minutes
Cataract surgery can take less than 10 minutes for one eye, and is painless. Laser cataract surgery may take a couple minutes longer but is more precise and can treat astigmatism, providing a better result than older, ultrasound-based surgery.
Depending on your surgeon, it may be only 15 min or up to 45 min. Avg about ½ hour from top to bottom…
