“How long does it take for MRI results to be ready?”
My 14 year old son had an MRI taken last Friday. I want to know how long does it take for MRI results to be ready?

Depends on the center where it is done...if the doctor labels it as stat...it can be ready in 1 day or less...but if it is routine, it can take 1-3 days...or more...
That all depends on where you undergo your MRI. With regard to my practice, we are held to 97% 24 hour turnaround time.

Depends on the facility. Our group reads them out in 1 day. Not uncommon for 3-5 days.
