How long does it take to recover from an eye lift surgery?

I'm 37 years old, and I'm going to have an eye lift next month on my upper eye lid. How long does it take to usually recover from this surgery?

You should ask your surgeon this question, since a lot depends on how extensive the planned operation is to be. However, in general, most of the swelling is gone in about 7-10 days and the bruising in 1-2 weeks. Your final result will only be seen after 2-3 months.
You should be careful for a month. Head position, activities, cleansing the operative area. The last thing you want is a complication that places you back in the operating room.
