“How long does scar removal surgery last?”
I am a 30 year old male who will have a scar removal surgery next week. How long does scar removal surgery last?

When a scar is removed a new scar is formed which is hopefully better than the previous one. The new scar that forms will be permanent but it will improve with time
Scars cannot be removed, they can be improved, but if they are surgically removing the scar, at best it will be improved, but not removed.
Definitely the response in time will be proportional to how large the scar is and most importantly, where it is ... a 4-inch scar perpendicular to the horizontal lines of the neck is not the same as another one of the same length in the abdomen horizontally Regards!
Your scar could certainly be improved with revisional surgery and with time it should continue to improve but despite the best efforts of any surgeon you may always have some remaining scar.
