I am a 22-year-old male and my teeth are sensitive to hot foods and drinks. How long does tooth sensitivity last?

It depends on the cause of the sensitivity. If it is due to recession and exposed root surfaces, or due the the enamel (outer white layer of tooth) becoming soft or starting to break down due to poor hygiene, then the sensitivity will last until the gum disease or hygiene/cavities are addressed. If you whitened your teeth recently, it could last 1-3 weeks, and using "Sensitivity toothpaste" that has fluoride or potassium nitrate in it will help alleviate that.
