I am a 33 year old male. I will have a CT scan of my neck. How long should CT scan results take?

At my clinic, 30 min.
In general CT reports should be available within one day. This however varies by the facility. You can ask when the results will be read. How long it take you doctor to give you the results can vary.
Most results are available within 24 hours
At my center, 20 minutes.

Scans should be read normally in 24 hrs at most larger hospitals but may take a few days at smaller hospitals depending on the number of Radiologists at the hospitals.
CT scan should be interpreted within 1 business day. The results should be transmitted to the ordering physician immediately thereafter.
