“How long should bronchitis last?”
My friend has had bronchitis for about a month. He's been having breathing treatments and has taken medication but it's still there. How long should bronchitis last?

"Bronchitis" can be ACUTE (lasting 1-2 weeks or more and is usually due to a virus or bacterial infection in the lung) or CHRONIC (lasting indefinitely--and is frequently due to smoking, with exacerbations due to viruses or bacteria).
