I am a 38 year old male. I want to know how long should I wait before ejaculating after a vasectomy?

Not necessarily the ejaculating that would be the problem. The contact with a partner before a couple of weeks would cause bruising.
It is best to wait 1 week after a vasectomy before attempting ejaculation. This will reduce risk of pain and bleeding complications.
That is a question for your the doctor that performed your vasectomy.
