Let the doctor advise you, after he evaluates your exams, tests, and x-rays.
Typically a chiropractor’s going to recommend a frequent schedule of care in the beginning such as 2 to 3 times per week. The reason for that is you’re trying to make fast changes and heal quickly. The doctor wants you to feel better as quickly as possible. When you’re working with the spine and nervous system, the body heals best when you do less, more frequently, hence the 2 to 3 times per week.
That will be up to your chiropractor to decide after a good consultation and exam
You should keep going until you and your Chiropractor decide you are at your medical maximum improvement. Get a second opinion if a worker’s Comp doctor feels you are healthy enough to go back to work before you are at your maximum improvement.
You chiropractor should develop a specific care plan of visits and time to complete them based on your specific injury. Hope I helped. Got your back! Dr Todd Gewant
The doctor you see is in a best position to answer that question, but typically it’s multiple times per week in the initial acute phase of care.
You need to go to the chiropractor and see what they say. They will do a full exam and will give you a treatment plan based upon their findings. Everyone is different, it depends on your spine.
As often as necessary.
For a workplace injury I would recommend at least 10 visits over the course of 3 months. Maybe up to 20 visits for a full recovery.
