This depends on the type of contact lens. some contacts are daily disposable contacts and should be changed every day some are 2 week replacement 1 month or longer. You should check with the eye doctor that prescribed your contacts to see what the recommended changing interval is.
Hi
Depending on your brand! It varies from 1 day, 2 weeks or 1 month. To have a correct answer you should ask your provider who fit your contacts
This is a very important question. When your contact lenses were provided to you, you should absolutely have been informed of the time frame and how long you should be using your contact lenses for. There are many different companies that make contact lenses and these companies must indicate if a contact lens is a daily lens, a weekly lens, a 2-week lens, a monthly lens, or a quarterly lens based on FDA testing guidelines and safety concerns. How often you replace your lenses should be something that you immediately contact your eye doctor about, especially if you are sleeping with your contact lenses, which can possibly be an added risk. Besides knowing how long you should be wearing your contact lenses before disposing of them, you should also find out which disinfection, storage, and enzymatic cleaning procedures you should follow. This would not be necessary with a daily lens, but with any other lens, please educate yourself in order to protect your eyes and your corneas. As I have said quite often to my patients, "contact lenses are not glasses." Good luck and best wishes.
You should wear daily disposable to throw out each day
It all depends on the type of lenses and the recommended replacement schedule set by your optometrist. There are some contacts that should be replaced daily, some that should be replaced bi-weekly, and some that should be replaced monthly. It is best to have an examination with an optometrist to determine what contact lenses would be ideal for your particular eyes.
It depends on the type of contact lens you are currently wearing. Is it soft contact lens or a rigid/hard contact lens? There's daily disposable soft contacts where you would wear for the entire day, and then dispose them. There's 2 week disposable contacts where you would clean daily with a multipurpose solution and store your contacts in a contact lens case daily, but would need to dispose the contacts at the end of the 2 week period. There's monthly soft contacts where you clean and store your contacts like the 2 week soft contacts but you would dispose of them at the end of the 30 day period. For rigid/hard contacts, you will usually need to clean them with a multipurpose solution and store them in a lens case daily, but these lenses usually can be used for several months. Be sure to follow your eye care professional's recommendations on your specific contact lens wear regimen and maintenance.
Depends on the brand of contacts that your eye doc prescribes. The healthiest option is daily, single-use contacts. They are sterile and less likely to cause dry eye, allergies and infection.
Depends on which type of contacts. If dailies, then you toss out the lenses at the end of the day! If it's a 2-week lens, then you remove them every night, clean them, and store them and throw it away after 14 days.
It is very important to replace your contact lenses as recommended by your doctor. The most hygienic replacement schedule is daily replacements. There are great rebates on annual supply, and that’s how you can save money.
That all depends on which contact lens your doctor fit you with. There are certain contacts that need to be thrown away daily; there are some that are 2-week disposables, and there are some that are monthly disposables. The best thing to do is to ask your doctor which lens you are wearing and how often it should be thrown away.
There are daily, 2 week, monthly, and quarterly replacement soft contact lenses. You should call your doctor to find out what you are in to determine the replacement frequency.
Daily lenses should be replaced everyday ! Monthly , every month .
That would depend on the type of lens you are wearing. The replacement schedule would have been determined by the doctor who fit you and the lens brand you are wearing. Daily, bi-weekly or monthly are the typical replacement schedules.
