“How often should I have a hearing test?”
Last time I had a hearing test, I was only 12 years old. Now I'm 27, but I feel like my hearing should have been checked since my last test. Ideally, how often should I get checked for my hearing?

Getting your ears checked every 3 to 5 years is a general best practice. Because hearing loss often occurs gradually, it can be difficult to recognize when you have it.
Ideally an annual hearing test is recommended. If you feel you are not hearing as well as you used to, it it recommended you get a baseline and then you will always have something to compare to. We also recommend you get your hearing tested anytime you notice a change in your hearing, have noises in your ear(s) or with any dizziness or balance issues.
