How often should you get a pneumonia vaccine?

I am a 47 year old male. I want to know how often should you get a pneumonia vaccine?

Never! First, you are way too young to even be concerned about pneumonia being deadly for you, and second, much like the flu vaccine, it is just a guess of what the next strain may be and can actually cause harm.
If you are healthy and non smoker CDC recommendation for pneumonia vaccine is at age 65
Once, and possibly repeat after age 65 years
At age 47 you do not need a vaccination for pneumonia unless you are diabetic, or have immune system problems. Pneumonia vaccinations are started at age 65;
For people who need it ( over 65 or with immunity problems), most sources recommend every 5 years.
