“How should I prepare for a colonoscopy?”
I'm 46 years old and a male. I need to have a colonoscopy next week, but I never had one before. Is there anything I should do to prepare?

Only the prep instructions for cleaning out your colon and the diet given to you by the physician.
Your doctor should have provided you with instructions and a prescription for your bowel prep. If you did not receive them you should call their office on Monday and inquire.
