How to clear a fungal infection on your penis?

I have had a fungus infection on my penis for almost 4 months. Various creams have helped clear it up. The opening on the foreskin has shrunk to about 1/2 inch.

Has it been cultured appropriately? Are you getting reinfected? What treatment options have you tried? Why do you have an opening or ulcer on the foreskin? I don't believe in routine circumcisions, but sometimes they are beneficial.
First, are you sure it is fungal? Are you diabetic? Can you retract the foreskin to clean that area well? If not, I advise you to see a urologist to help retract the foreskin to be able to clean it well. He may recommend some antifungal cream then.

Usually, we use a combination of steroid and anti-fungal such as triamcinolone and nystatin. If this doesn’t work, sometimes you end up needing a circumcision.
