“infected tonsil pocket”
i had my tonsils removed a week ago to the day and now in one of the tonsil pockets its just black and the other is white, two days ago it did not look like this. pain has also not subsided and its become increasingly difficult to drink water or swallow.

You may have experienced a tonsil bleed. that blackness looks like a blood clot in the tonsil fossa. the white appearance is normal healing. Do not get dehydrated, this will make your pain worse. Keep drinking and take your pain medication regularly.
