“Is Radiation therapy safe for kids?”
My son who is 9 years old has been battling liver cancer. Though the cancer is treated to a large extent the radiation therapy is still on. Will it have a long term impact on his health and growth?

No way to predict. Could happen but sounds like radiation is necessary.
As I am not a radiation oncologist, I will leave that response to your oncologist. It depends on the amount of radiation and length of treatment.

I’m so sorry to hear this. My wife and I have always worried while our children were growing up that something like this could happen.
That is up to you, yes, there is a risk/benefit ratio involved.
