Is a nasal aspirator good for babies?

My baby is 6 months old. I want to know if a nasal aspirator is good for babies?

Absolutely you can use the one they gave you from the hospital when the baby was born usually blue in color and just use Baby nasal saline over the counter to help break up any mucus plugs. I find the greatest tool is the nasal Frida you can find it over the counter. I used it in my own child when she was young and even now she is 3 years old.
I used a suction ball for my kids when they had mucus. You must keep it clean. You may purchase at drug store.
If there is so much mucus secretion it can help. Always be cautious.
If they have a lot of mucus such as during a cold, it can be helpful to help them breathe such as before feeding, but they are not necessary.
If your baby is congested, a nasal aspirator can be very helpful. It is very effective in removing the mucous.
