Is anxiety a normal part of fibromyalgia?

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 6 years ago when I was 30 years old. However, one thing I never really understood is the anxiety that I feel with this disease. Since my diagnosis, and even before, I just feel really anxious about work, my friends, and my family. Is anxiety a normal part of fibromyalgia?

I believe that there are situations where fibromyalgia is a manifestation of anxiety.
Since the chronic pain of fibromyalgia is difficult to control, the lack of control frequently leads to tension and anxiety. Exercise can reduce tension and thereby reduce anxiety.
