My friend is 24 year old. She was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. Is borderline personality disorder curable?

Personality disorders are difficult to get cured.
Unfortunately, personality disorders usually are not 100% curable. However, good treatment options are available that are effective. If patients stay the long course of treatment, they do get much better to the point where they can function normally in their life activities. The main stay of treatment is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with some mood stabilizing medications to curb the impulsivity.
