I am a 39 year old male and I had a dental implant procedure 3 days ago. I am still in pain from this. Is it normal to have pain after a dental implant?

Not usually. Post operative pain can be expected for a day or so after surgery. You shouldn’t really be experiencing anything other than some mild discomfort, something a Tylenol could take care of. I would suggest you go back to your dentist and have him/her check the area.
Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Everybody is different and every procedure is different. My question would be were you following your post operative instructions because that can make a difference. Finally you should not hesitate to contact your doctor with concern
