“Is it possible to lose feeling in face after extraction?”
My wisdom teeth are pretty far in my gums and jaw bone. I was told there could be a nerve damage because my nerves are very close to the roots. Is this a normal warning for patients? Can I lose feeling temporarily in my face after a wisdom tooth extraction?

That is a risk of the surgery, and depends on how close the lower teeth are to the nerve within the jaw. They should be able to show you this on your xray. The area of feeling of concern would be from the corner of the mouth to the midline on lower lip and chin, and has a small risk of being permanent.
Yes. Nerve anatomy and potential injury to the nerve is a critical element of discussion prior to surgery.
Yes it is normal warning for surgical extraction of wisdom teeth which are fully impacted in the jaw bone. Depends on the position of the tooth, and the skill of the surgeon, you may or may not experience the numbness on the side of the surgery, and it can be temporary or permanent depends on the degree of nerve damage
