Is listerine good for swollen gums?

I am a 40 year old male and I have swollen gums. Is listerine good for swollen gums?

I don’t think it will help that much. Swelling is part of the three signs of infection. Redness, swelling, pain are what we see whenever there’s an infection. You should get an exam.
Warm salt water (cheaper) and WATER PIK, then of course check with your dentist.
Hello,

Sorry to hear about your swollen gums. Listerine is a good antiseptic rinse which will help your gums when used properly. The best advice I could give you is to find out why your gums are swollen, take care of that issue, and then, if you can use, Listerine to maintain healthy gums if you need/want.
Best of luck!

Swollen gums could be a sign of infection that Listerine may not help.
Yes, it's very good for gum health. But should not be used in excess as it can stain your teeth.
Listerine has the capability to kill the bacteria associated with swollen gums. I would also recommend that you visit your local dentist for examination and cleaning; your guns could be inflamed because you have not had a cleaning, or there could some other underlying reason for the inflamed gums.
Listerine is fine as an antibacterial for immediate relief. Please visit your dentist for a diagnosis as to why the gums are swollen.
