Is medication appropriate for children with aggression?

My toddler is uncontrollable. He is constantly acting out, at home and at school. Is medication appropriate for children with aggression?

Hello

I think toddlers are too young for medication. Unfortunately aggression is common in toddlers and they do act out. Several behavioral medicines have side effects that are not good for young children. Good luck with everything.
Medication should be a last resort - counseling and parenting classes in discipline need to be aggressively pursued first.
If behavior therapy has failed, it can be used. He needs to be able to go to school and be taught. If his behavior is interfering with his learning, medication may help.
