“Is nebulization absolutely necessary for bronchitis?”
My son is now 3 years old and since he was first diagnosed with bronchitis, the doctor has recommended him to use nebulizer whenever he would have it again. Does nebulization have any side effects in the long term?

If the nebulization is just with warm, normal saline, there are no side effects. However, it is not absolutely necessary, but may be helpful.
