Is radiation damage reversible?

I am a 61 year old male. I want to know if radiation damage is reversible?

In general, reversible except high radiation doses. It may cause scar tissue and fibrosis.
There are many types of tissues in the body. A bad sunburn that blisters and peels, and then heals back to normal is one example. Some tissues do not recover as well as skin. The most common affect on tissues that receive meaningful amounts of radiation is formation of scar or fibrosis. Scar tissue is a living tissue, that is less resilient due to fewer blood capillaries.
