“Is a ventilator considered life support?”
My aunt is on a ventilator after her heart surgery, and I didn't realize that a ventilator is a lot serious than I thought. Because she's on a ventilator, does it mean that she's also on life support?

Yes, a ventilator is respiratory life support.
Yes and no... because of cardiac surgery she needs to remain in vent until she can breathe on her own. They do daily weaning protocols. Considered life support if cannot come off of it
