Can lying down on your stomach and watching TV affect my neck?

I have a weird habit of lying down and watching TV. I have also felt a little pain when I do so. Is my posture affecting my neck?

Yes. there are several reasons why.
Staying in one position is not good. Always try not to stay in one position while you are doing any activities.
Yes for all of the above.
Any prolonged position could result in discomfort. So the best thing is to change your position
Watching TV while laying down on your back typically requires a few pillows, which puts your neck in an extreme forward head position but generally doesn't result in pain, unless you use a ridiculous amount of pillows and you don't move for 4 hours. If you're laying on your stomach, it's even worse. So if you sleep on your stomach, start breaking that habit tonight. It's horrible for your neck. If you're watching TV on your back, consider using less pillows or changing where your TV is placed.
Yes
Posture has a poor correlation or predictor of pain. However, if your body is giving you pain while in a certain position, get out of that position. Listen to your body.
Yes, it is. It is putting your neck into strain by stretching the front of your neck muscles and shortening the back of the neck muscles. In the long run, it is not good for your muscles or your posture!
