“My mother is experiencing shortness of breath. What is the right way to manage this?”
My mother is a chronic asthma patient. She is now 84 years old and has been getting sick often. She has been having shortness of breath even when she moves around just a little. What is the best way to manage her condition and make her more comfortable?

Lung diseases can cause significant distress to the patient and their loved ones. It would be a reasonable option to reach out to the primary physician/lung doctors to guide further treatment. if her health continues to decline in spite of optimized the treatment plan then you may want to consider palliative care for symptom management. There is high possibility that your mother may qualify for even hospice.
