Midazolan injections is used before surgery or other medical procedures as a relaxing agent for anxiety. Is used for insomnia. panic attacks and alcohol withdrawal. It is not recommended the use of Midazolam if you are drinking. Tell your Doctor not to give you the injection if you have injected a large amount of alcohol. Midazolam has a risk for abuse which can lead to overdose and death.
Not my area of expertise. Perhaps an internist can help.
