“My daughter has trouble making friends in school? ”
My 6 year old daughter has trouble focusing in school and has issues getting along with other children. She will isolate herself from other children and not share her toys. Could this indicate some type of mental health or physical health issue?

Was she an only child? Did she go to preschool? Children sometimes have to be taught to share. If the focusing causes trouble maintaining her grades She may need to be tested for ADHD.
Your daughter will benefit from counseling to adjust to her new environment. Her PCP should refer her to a counselor to help her cope with new environment.
