“My son was tripped in lacrosse and has an aching leg?”
My 14 year old son was tripped during a game of lacrosse. He now has pain in his calf and behind his knee. What does this mean?

Could be many things, could have strained his calf muscle. Recommend he get evaluated by a primary care dr
He could have a tendon injury ranging from swelling to a tear. Needs an evaluation from a doctor with imaging
If there is swelling and pain in knee and calf you should see your primary care dr. May need an x ray or sonogram

This means you should take him in to be evaluated. Make an appointment so he can have a thorough exam and possibly radiographs.
