“During winters my veins seem to jut out too much. Why does this happen?”
In the winter season I can feel my veins jutting out to much. What could be the reason for this? Is there anything that can be done to treat it?

Usually, it's the opposite. I would just continue with compressions and see a vascular specialist if it is bothersome.
Most of us are less active in winter than in summer. This leads to more stagnation of blood, veins become more enlarged and obvious. Some patients tend to have more symptoms as well.
The primary treatment for bulging varicose veins is, as a first line, compression support hose.
